General Information / Arriving to Budapest

All the trains are arriving from the western part of Hungary and from Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and some trains from Bratislava are travelling through Budapest Kelenföld train station. This station has got tram (19, 49) and bus (7gy, 173gy, 103) connection – metro is under construction. For participants who have got reservation in our suggested hotels it is advantageous to get off here, because Hotel Griff and Hotel Griff Junior is in walking distance or 1 tram stops, Professors Guest House is 6 and Hotel Gellért is 7 stops using tram 19 or 49. Taxis are also accessible in front of the station building.

Arriving by bus

All international buses – including the minibuses arriving from Romania – are arriving to Népliget Bus Terminal. It is out of the city centre, which is accessible by metro Nr. 3 (blue line). The bus terminal has got also tram (1, 1A) and bus (103) connection.
