VENUE

Hotel Ramada Plaza Budapest – (94. Árpád fejedelem útja, H-1036 Budapest)
Ramada Plaza Budapest is located on the embankment of the River Danube within easy reach of the city centre. Free Wi-fi is provided in the guestrooms and in the public areas, and in the conference rooms during the event.

LANGUAGE

The official language of the conference will be English. No translation will be provided.

WEATHER:

The weather in August is generally warm and dry. During the day the temperature ranges from 22 to 28 °C.

TRAVEL:

Budapest can easily be reached by air or train from all major European cities.
An Airport Minibus service is available from the airports to each hotel. The cost for one fare is between 4000-6000 HUF.
Railway Stations are connected with Public Transport. Trams, metros and buses operate without conductors. Tickets must be purchased in advance at metro stations and validated by the passengers at the punching machines.

Hotel Ramada Transfer
The Hotel provides shuttle bus to and from the city center between 9.30-17.30 upon request.
Prices:
- Single 3EUR/person.
- Return 5 EUR/person.
Transfer from the hotel to the airport: 30 EUR
Transfer from the airport to the hotel: 36 EUR

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY:

In Hungary electricity is supplied at 230V, 50Hz ("Schuko" plug and socket). The outlet and plug are the same as in most European countries.

INSURANCE:

Participants should arrange health, travel and car insurance prior to departure. The organizers do not assume responsibility for loss, injury or damage to persons and belongings however caused.

CURRENY:

The currency used in Hungary is Hungarian Forint (HUF).
The exchange rate is approx. 300 HUF = 1 EUR.

BANKING AND POSTAL FACILITIES:

Banks are generally open from 8.15 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and are closed on Saturday and Sunday. There are plenty of cash automata (except for Amex).
Post offices are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

PROCEEDINGS:

All accepted papers for oral and poster presentations will be published in the conference proceedings that will be distributed at the registration. The condition for publication of a paper is that at least one of the authors should register and pay for the conference. Additional copies can be purchased at the Registration Desk.
