The hotel is situated adjacent to the magnificent sixteenth-century bastions of Valletta and provides stunning views of Marsamxett Harbour and Manoel Island from its location by the edge of the sea.
The official language of the conference will be English. No translation will be provided.
The weather in September is generally warm and humid, with an average temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.
Valleta can easily be reached by air from all major European cities. Traffic in Malta drives on the left, as in the UK. Buses are the primary method of public transport, offering a cheap and frequent service to many parts of Malta. The vast majority of buses on Malta depart from a large circular terminus in Valletta.
Electricity in Malta use a Voltage of 240 volts, 50cycles. Three-pin square British style plugs are used.
Participants should arrange health and travel insurance prior to departure. The organizers do not assume responsibility for loss, injury or damage to persons and belongings however caused.
The currency used in Malta is Euro.
All accepted papers for oral and poster presentations will be published in the proceedings that will be distributed at the registration. The condition for publication of a paper is that at least one of the authors should register and pay for the symposium. Additional copies can be purchased at the Registration Desk.
An IEEE membership desk has been set up in the registration area for promoting IEEE membership among the attendance and in order to get new memberships.
