Mircea Aurel Ciugudean, Ph.D. Engineering (born June 25, 1940 in Ocna Mureş, Alba County, Romania) is a Romanian electronics professor, author and musician. He was a founder of the Electronics and Telecommunications Program at the Polytechnic University of Timişoara, Romania, and the first dean of that faculty. His development of the curriculum there included prolific authorship of textbooks and student guides for the university, and he has also written several self-published books about related subject material—a total of more than 30 books.
